Uma formiga que estava com muita sede foi beber água a um charco.
Ela meteu-se em cima de um ramo flutuante e começou a beber. De repente caiu ao charco e ficou muito aflita. Uma pomba que passava lá em cima, viu a formiga a afogar-se e pegou num pau para a formiga o agarrar e poder sair da água.
A formiga agradeceu à pomba. Entretanto apareceu um caçador e apontou a arma para a pomba. A formiga subiu até ao braço do caçador e mordeu-o. Ele errou a pontaria e a pomba fugiu.

The dove and the ant
An ant that was very thirsty was drink water in a pond.
She got on top of a floating branch and began to drink. Suddenly fell to the pond and was very distressed. A dove that was passing it over saw the ant to drown and picked up a stick to grab the ant and took her out of the water.
The dove thanked the ant. But a hunter appeared and pointed a gun at the dove. The ant climbed up to the hunter's arm and bit him. He missed the shot and the dove fled.

Gostei da idéia das histórias infantis, são bonitas e trazem sempre algum ensinamento importante para vida.
